Who We Are

Edinburgh's Heart & Soul of Pipe Band Music

Founded over 30 years ago, Stockbridge Pipe Band is one of Edinburgh's most active and welcoming pipe bands. We're a dual-purpose organisation - a serious competitive band and a community group dedicated to making piping and drumming accessible to everyone.

Under our new leadership, the band is entering an exciting new chapter. Whether you're an experienced musician or have never played a note, there's a place for you here.

Grade 3B Take a Superb 5th Place at the World Championships

What a weekend for Stockbridge Pipe Band! Our Grade 3B and Grade 4B bands had an absolutely fantastic time competing at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow, giving it their all on the world stage, with Grade 3B coming away with an amazing 5th place. A massive well done to every player, supporter and volunteer who helped make the weekend so special for Stockbridge Pipe Band. What a team!
